Today, Bryan King was baptized. My heart is bursting. This has been something I’ve been praying for and looking forward to for a very long time, only I didn’t know I’d literally be a part of it too. Though I made the choice to be baptized when I was 12 years old – when they gave me the option to get baptized again with Bryan, I thought yes – what best way could I support him as his wife and partner but by being submersed in water with him on this happy day.

We have been attending @saddlebackirvn for the past 3 years and this church has become a family to us. I’m so thankful God placed us here, and even more thankful that Bryan and I have grown spiritually here. And he chose to get baptized today. As we take this public step of faith, we are declaring that we put our love, trust and hope in Christ. It’s a symbol of putting away our “old life” and rising to walk in a “new life” because Jesus died on the cross for all of us. We are broken, imperfect people doing life together and it is by God’s great Grace that this day is here. If you are searching for a church family or want to know more about Jesus Christ, we’d love to share this gift with you too.

Thank you Pastor D.j. Crawford and Pastor Chris Yi as well as Young Chon Tina Jun Marcia Kim Chow Jeanette Manley-Johnson Tasha Pope (Tasha Pate) and so many others in our church family for your prayers, support and encouragement. ❤️

Philippians 3:12-14
12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. 13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
